Also scannt gerne den QR-Code. Wenn ihr auch schon Mitglieder seid, könnt ihr diesen QR-Code scannen.
Auch gerne scannen. Amen! Next is our WhatsApp-Group. Ihr könnt also gerne diesen QR-Code scannen. Amen! In Tampa, Florida. And they have asked that each and every one of us should pray along,
that they come back with the fresh fire of the Holy Ghost. Amen! There is going to be a soul-winning night on Friday, June 6th. We usually have the soul-winning on Saturday mornings. But as the pastor said last week, this summer we are pushing it to the next level and soul-winning is going to now be in the night when there will be a lot of people in the city. So noted in your calendar, the next soul-winning night will be Friday, June 6th. Halleluja! The last announcement for today, men's night will take place Friday, June 13th. Halleluja! The last men's night we had games, we had the world, we had everything. So it promises to be another eventful night on the June 13th. So if you are a man, we enjoy you to note it in your calendar that June 13th is the next men's night. Amen! Halleluja! So in the service this morning, we are going to have the first part of the service
before we give you an opportunity to soul. We are going to listen to a powerful message by our pastors. And directly after the message we are going to give you an opportunity to soul. Halleluja! And then we will do the main message for today. Halleluja! God bless you as you listen. Amen! Amen! Hello everyone! Hope you are having an amazing Sunday. We are shooting this video early. But by the time you are watching this video, we will be in America at the pastor and minister conference and receive fresh fire. We are excited to come back and step into everything God has for us. We know today that Samson is going to bring the house down. Come hungry and God is going to touch you today. Amen! I wanted to continue last week. Last week we talked about the anointing to prosper. You were already given the anointing to prosper by the Holy Spirit. Amen! This earth comes with a curse.
But the Bible declares in Galatians 3 if you will go to Galatians 3 in verse number 13 the Bible declares Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law being a curse for us for it is written, Christ has redeemed us from the curse because the Bible says everyone is cursed who hangs on a tree. And the Bible declares in verse number 14 that the blessing of the Abraham might come upon the Gentiles through Jesus Christ. Someone say I am blessed and when God is blessed no man can curse. Come on, you can do better than that. I am blessed and when God is blessed no man can curse. That sounds better. Amen! The Bible declares in Ephesians 1 and 3 we have been blessed. We are not waiting to be blessed with every spiritual blessing. So where is the blessing? It is in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. So by our faith we reach out and receive the blessing that we have already been given.
So we have been blessed with the blessings of Abraham. How many know that Abraham was blessed? The Bible says Abraham was very rich. He was so rich that his family had to leave him because he had so much stuff. Amen! So we see that God is going to increase you. God is going to multiply you. Amen! What God has for you, no man can take. No curse can come upon you because of the blessing of God. Amen! Praise the Lord! You are blessed. Come on, say that with me. I am blessed. Amen! The blessing of God chases you. So you are not chasing money. The things in this world come to the righteous. As you seek God and seek his righteousness, everything else is added unto you. Amen! So we don't chase blessings. The Bible says the blessing chases us. The blessing follows us. You'll be blessed in the city. You'll be blessed in the field. You'll be blessed coming in. You'll be blessed going out. Amen!
Blessed in your coming, blessed in your going. Come on, say it again. I am blessed. Hallelujah! Come on, just lift your hands right now. Father, we thank you that your people are blessed. Lord, I thank you for a revelation of the blessing of God upon every single person. God, I come against everything trying to steal the blessing. Father, I thank you that you said in your Word. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. So I curse poverty. I curse a poverty mindset. I curse thoughts that would keep your people back. I rebuke small thinking. God, I thank you that your people are expanding. Your people are growing. Your people are making great impact in all the sectors of the earth, in the kingdom, in souls, in the blessing is causing your people to swell and expand and take territory in Jesus' name. I thank you that you said in your Word everywhere we put our feet.
You've given us the land. So Father, we thank you that this week is a week of testimony for your people. This week is a week of breakthrough for your people. Those that need jobs, I thank you for jobs. Those that need careers, I thank you that you give them careers. Those that are believing for businesses, God, I thank you for supernatural open doors that no man can close in Jesus' money name. Amen. It's going to be a great week. Amen. Can't wait to see you guys. Samson is going to take the offering. Give with a glad heart. Give with a heart of worship. Amen. And we'll see you next week. You're blessed. Hallelujah. Now we sing a song. We bring our friends. Hallelujah. Amen. You can give online. And if you need them, have a look. The oceans can give you one. If you need one, just signal to them. And they can give you one. Hallelujah. Acceptable one to you, O God, in the name of Jesus.
You will send your blessings back to everyone who has faithfully given this morning in the name of Jesus. And everyone who wished to do this, will pray that you will send your blessings also into their life for an abundance in the name of Jesus. So shall it be in the name of Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name we are prayed. Amen. Please you can have a seat. Hallelujah. How many are happy to be in the presence of Jesus this morning? How many know that every day of the week the Lord performs miracles and wonders? If you know that every day the Lord performs miracles and wonders, come and wave your hands to Jesus. If you know, you are very sure. So it is not strange to God that every day he is going to give his people, his children miracles. But there is something required of us to receive the miracles. This God has already parted the Red Sea in the Bible. He raised up the dead.
So miracles to God is not an unusual thing. It is an everyday event. But for some of us we wonder every morning, but why am I not getting blessed? Some of us get up in the morning and ask themselves, why am I not blessed? Everyone is talking about these miracles, but I am yet to witness it. This is the reason why. Because you require something to get miracles from God. And I am happy you are here this morning. So you are going to get the gift also this morning. Hallelujah. This morning I am preaching on the title Faith Unshakeable. Unshakeable. Unmovable. I was wondering if it is going to translate well in German, but it is Faith Unshakeable. Can someone say Faith Unshakeable? Now if you can go to the Bible and go to Hebrews chapter 11. And we will start reading from verse 1. Hebrews 11, we will start reading from verse 1. And if you are without your Bibles today,
the text is already on the wall, so you can see it on the wall if you don't have your Bibles this morning. The first one actually, Faith. Amen. Now I will start reading in English. This is the NLT. I read again verse 1. Hallelujah. So Faith is not something that has already happened. I don't need Faith for me to become a 20 year old. Because I am over 20 years old. So my Faith will do nothing for me to be 20 years old. I don't need Faith to be 20 years old. But I don't look 80. I could have the Faith that I am going to live forever till the time God says, Son, come to meet me in heaven. So usually Faith is the things that we are yet to already see, but we are believing that it is going to happen. Hallelujah. So in the natural it will look like you are yet to get that job, but Faith is saying the job is already mine. Hallelujah. So Faith is when the doctors have checked you out.
And they are saying this situation there is no cure for it. And they ask you questions, does your mother or your father also have the same condition? But Faith is saying, no, by his stripes I am healed. Hallelujah. By his stripes I am healed. I see the Faith rising up here this morning If there are situations that look difficult to you and you are wondering how it is going to be I am telling you this morning that with Faith unshakable in God the Lord can give you all you require of Him. Hallelujah. Now what does unshakable mean? Unshakable. Can someone say Faith unshakable? It means not moved. Not disturbed. One passion that I have had for a long time since I was in high school is to read the news all the time. I read about almost anything possible on the internet. So it is normal for you to hear today that this company is going to sack 6,000 employees. This company is going to
let go of 3,000 employees. And you hear also that the shares are coming down. That the economy is not growing as everyone has predicted. But Faith unshakable is in spite of all this news and you say, but I have God and so what? We are not saying, oh, if this company is letting 6,000 go off, maybe my company is the next. Maybe I am going to lose my job. Maybe I will not be able to pay my rent. That is not what Faith says. Faith says, when there is a casting down I say there is a lifting up. So when everybody is scared about their job about their economy, about their health there is a faith in you that is unshakable you are unmovable. Meaning that despite all you read in the news and despite all your friends tell you you are not bothered, you are not disturbed. Hallelujah! Amen! Faith does one thing that is very special. Faith, it fuels miracles. Like as our cars.
Our cars, they need gas to move. Hallelujah! Cars are usually always ready to move, right? But they need something in the engine for it to move. So without the gas, of course also with the tires, the cars will not move, right? So as I said before, the Lord every day is said to do miracles. But we need faith to believe that that miracle can be ours. Hallelujah! So note that point that faith fuels miracles. That is without faith it is difficult for miracles to happen. An example, you are praying to God to have a job. But you don't even believe yourself that you will get the job. Then it is a little bit difficult for God to help. But when you yourself, you are confident in yourself having the faith in God then you can go for it, you can go for anything. It surprises me all the time. I am not sure if we have any HR person in the church this morning. But they do fantastic jobs.
They do great jobs. The HR people at our workplaces. If this is what I mean, maybe this would be better. So you apply for a job, right? And you get this email. Sometimes the messages come like it's a love message to you. Dear Samson, we are really very happy with your performance in the interview. And you are reading between the lines what is the main message that you are trying to pass. We are really very confident in your abilities that you will do well in this skill that you have. And we are really looking to hard to our employees in this time of the year. But there is that little word, unfortunately. Is it not easier just for you to say it from the top? Unfortunately we are not going to take you and I don't have to read the rest of the email. Is there anyone here this morning that you have already been rejected in a job before but yet today you are fully employed?
So you know that what we are talking about is about faith. So what do I do when I get a rejection email about a job that I so much trusted God for? I don't get bothered. I don't get moved. You know why? Because the Lord says greater is in you that is in the world. Hallelujah! Because the word of the Lord already told me that I will give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29, 11. So I never blame the HR for the beautiful messages that they write on to me. But it never gets to me. Hallelujah! If you are seeking for miracles today you have been rejected a lot. I know that there is a miracle with your name on it. Hallelujah! I see faith rising up this morning in the name of Jesus. And for every hopeless situation where you have given up faith will bring you joy today and forevermore in the name of Jesus. One thing you will have noticed from our pastor, Pastor Nick
a lot of time he speaks passionately about the church moving into the next building. Moving into the next level. So it means you also have to have a large heart and open your mind for miracles. Imagine if the lead pastor does not have any vision and is not looking for the next level. Probably after three years we will still be in an hotel room right now. But you can always feel that faith unshakable. So faith unshakable means that you have to have faith unshakable. So faith unshakable is when you check your account details and you see that there is not a lot in it. But you are saying this year I am going to buy that car. And you are saying this year I am going to buy that property. Hallelujah! It is a fool. But it is because of what you know that you are able to challenge the situation that indeed I trust the Lord will give me this and that. Amen! Faith unshakable.
Unerschütterlicher Glaube. I want to give you some points to note about faith unshakable if you are writing this morning. Points to note about faith unshakable. One. Faith keeps us calm in the midst of storms or troubles. Faith keeps us calm in the midst of storms or troubles. Hallelujah! If you go into the Bible and let's read from Matthew chapter 8 we will start reading from verse 23. Matthew chapter 8 Matthew chapter 8 verse 23 Hallelujah! Say faith unshakable. So I read from verse 23 Matthew 8 Then Jesus got into the boat and started across the lake with his disciples. Verse 24 Suddenly, someone say suddenly suddenly a fierce storm struck the lake with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus So this is a strange thing in the Bible. There was a storm fierce storm that was eating the boat where Jesus was. And you know how powerful Jesus is and maybe for him just to stand up and say
the Bible says but Jesus was sleeping. So this is a critical example of what we are talking about. Faith unshakable. So maybe also there are storms in your life this morning that is eating you so hard and you don't know what to do. Maybe the easiest thing is to panic or get an appointment with a psychologist and complain. But if you want to learn from Jesus example when the storms are so high you sleep. Why do you sleep? Because you have a faith unshakable that the Lord is beyond and above the storms in your life. And your colleagues they look at you and say aren't you bothered about the news that we just heard? Or maybe when I was younger when there are situations I run to my dad and I don't cry but I run to him when I am disturbed, right? But recently I found that there is a kid also now running to me when she has some problems. So I realized it is no longer possible for me
to run to my dad because now I have someone also If I would still be living with the faith that worked with my dad right now I would disappoint my daughter. If she runs to me that she needs ice cream and I have also to run to my dad that my daughter needs ice cream it would not make sense, right? So we have to trust God explicitly, right? When the news comes and people are trying to scare you off you don't move you keep sleeping you don't get worried I want to share a personal experience about some years ago Someone called me and said I had a dream about you In the dream it was so serious this happened, that happened and this happened And you know rather than getting worried and shaking and maybe a 90 day fast I said okay that's fine, thank you for the message God bless you I never prayed I never speak in tongues You know why? Because I have an unshakable faith in God
Because the word of God says I shall not die but live to declare His works Amen Sometimes I attract those bad news and visions into my life that people just call me and say I see you having an accident And those are the kind of news actually that I love when you tell me something negative about me Because I tell you I do not pray when you tell me negative things about me, no I never pray Because I trust the one who I know says faith, things that we are yet to see So it is blindly trusting God that in all situations He is able to help you out of every situation I continue to read But Jesus was sleeping You remember what we said? There was a fierce storm in the boat But rather than Jesus panicking Jesus was what? He was sleeping But Jesus was sleeping Verse 25 The disciples went and woke him up shouting I believe this was the way they said it Lord save us, we are going to drown
Lord save us, we are going to drown And that is normal for someone And that is normal for someone who has a little bit for one time forgotten the power that they have in Christ Jesus When you panic in situations do not blame yourself too much this morning I am not calling you weak for panicking in situations this morning But after 5 minutes or 10 minutes come on remind yourself about the power in the name of Jesus It is okay for a moment to be worried about the situation Because we are human beings, we have flesh and blood But after the situation just summon yourself in courage and have faith that the Lord is able to move you away from that situation Verse 26 Jesus responded Why are you afraid? The Bible said it was a fierce storm Meaning that it was really strong For all of my faiths I am not sure I am going to go to sea So I could imagine for some of you who are good swimmers
that can go to sea and go to the Atlantic and when there comes a big storm I can imagine myself in the middle of the storm and how fearful I will get when the storm comes But Jesus replied Why are you afraid? You have so little faith He told his disciples that they have so little faith Meaning that for some moment if they had that unshakable faith maybe they didn't even have to wake Jesus They just also sleep together with Jesus And they say if the maker of heaven and heart is sleeping in the middle of the storm maybe we should also go to sleep But they panicked for a moment They shouted for some moments They could have saved their voice Rather they were shouting Jesus save us we are going to drown Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and waves And suddenly there was a great calm And I pray this morning that every storm in your life or every situation that you are unable to explain
those medical conditions that have been giving you worries the Lord will make a calm to occur in the name of Jesus So remember the first point Our faith keeps us calm in the midst of storms and troubles Let us also read from John chapter 11 How many people are getting blessed by this world this morning Your faith is increasing this morning You are not alone in difficult situations All you need is faith John chapter 11 I will read from verse 1 This is the story about Lazarus so maybe a lot of us know it but still we read Jesus received a message saying that his friend is very sick Jesus received a message And you remember from the last example that when the storms were so fierce they told Jesus but he was sleeping And in this perfect example of Jesus again they told him this is not just his friend but his dear friend You have friends but some people are dear to your heart
So Lazarus was a dear friend of Jesus And when they told him that his dear friend was sick hear what Jesus said in verse 4 of John chapter 11 But when Jesus heard about it he said Lazarus' sickness will not end in death No, it happened for the glory of God so that the Son of God will receive glory from this So although Jesus loved Martha, Mary and Lazarus Hear this Although Jesus loved Martha Mary and Lazarus Although Jesus loved you and her in our situation Jesus loves us so much because we are his dear friend and we are in a critical situation We are in a life or death situation This is what Jesus did for Lazarus Then he stayed where he was for the next two days What a dear friend Lazarus was very sick Lazarus was a dear friend of Jesus But even though he knew this guy was at the point of death Jesus then stayed two more days where he was But now you understand why he did that
Why did he do that? Because of faith unshakable Because he trusted that Lazarus, even if he died he is going to come back to life Hallelujah! We are in situations and we are crying and we are under pressure and we are shaking God is still staying two days where he is Because he knows when we have confidence in him and when we have absolute faith that is able to deliver us from those situations Then it comes true for each and every one of us Hallelujah! Because of time, I am going to jump to verse 17 of the same chapter John chapter 11 When Jesus arrived at Bethany He was told that Lazarus had already been in his grave for four days So rather than going quickly to save his friend or sending a word to him where he is on his sick bed He came and Jesus arrived at Bethany and he was told that Lazarus had been in his grave for four days meaning now Lazarus was dead Bethany was only a few miles
than the road from Jerusalem and many of the people had come to console Martha and Mary in their loss When Martha got word that Jesus was coming she went to meet him but Mary stayed in the house Martha said to Jesus, verse 21 Lord, if only you had been here my brother would not have died If only you had been there maybe my mother would still be alive today If you think maybe God forgot me that was why that situation happened Why should I have an accident with a car that I just bought? Was Jesus not there with me? We begin to judge ourselves and thinking what could go wrong why, why, why, why? She said, if you had been there he wouldn't have been dead my brother wouldn't have been dead Jesus told her, verse 23 your brother will rise again Yes, Martha said he will rise when everyone else rises at the last day I know you are able to heal him but maybe in the resurrection
he is going to rise with you Verse 25, Jesus told her I am the resurrection and the life Anyone who believes in me will live even after dying Verse 26 Everyone who believes in me will never ever die Do you believe this Martha? Verse 27 Yes Lord, she told him I have always believed you are the Messiah He has come into the world from God When Jesus saw our weeping and saw the other people wailing with a deep anger well up within him and he was deeply troubled Where have you put him? He asked They told him, Lord come and see Verse 26 Jesus said Roll the stone away Roll the stone away Jesus said Roll the stone away Jesus said Roll the stone away For every dream that you've had when you were so young Jeder Traum, den du hattest, als du klein warst und du bist kurz davor aufzugeben, diese Träume sind irgendwo eingeschlossen.
Jesus sagt, roll away the stone. But Martha, the man's sister, protested, Lord, he has been dead for four days. The smell will be terrible. Jesus responded, verse 40, Didn't I tell you that you will seek God's glory if you believe? So no matter what we may lose in life, do not lose your faith in God. At the last moment, the Lord is always there to come up for you. Never lose faith in God. Even when the situation is not appealing, always have faith in God. Someone once told me, someone very close to me, applied for over 300 jobs in Germany. He applied for over 300 jobs in Germany.
And maybe you've only just got seven rejections. You've only got seven of those beautiful messages from the HR. Telling you how well you did in the interview. Telling you how well they enjoy that you have a lot of experience in the field. But still will not give you the job. But you know, this person, after the 300 applications, the person got the job. Because the faith was there. That the Lord will surely come through. There's a little bit difference between second guessing and faith. You could say, but that is just logic. When you get rejected, you apply again and you apply and you apply. But you remember what Hebrew 1 says about faith. It is the hope that this thing will happen in my time. It is not just sending out those applications. It is not just trying to follow the crowd. You are doing it with a strong heart that faith will see you through. Amen!
So again the point, faith keeps us calm in the midst of storms or troubles. Another point this morning. Faith gives us confidence when faced with challenges. So once you've enjoyed at least one blessing of the Lord before. This is always a confidence for the next challenge that comes your way. If you had to trust God so much to get a life partner. And the Lord God came true for you. Why won't He then give you, if you need children from God, why won't He give you? Because you can owe God to this world. God you gave me a partner, I need children from you. Why won't He give you? Absolute faith in Jesus Christ. One of the things that inspires me about the River Church is about the kind of crazy miracles that we see all the time in this place. And this is not a story from the internet or a story from somewhere else. But you all know the testimonies of our pastors.
For seven years they waited for the fruit of the womb. And the Lord came true for them. They say all the time, they never lost hope. Maybe you are not looking for children, but what you are looking out from God, never lose hope in God. Never lose your faith in God. Because you can say, when I was in a situation you rescued me, I trust you for this next level. I needed faith to pass my German classes. And it was possibly one of the biggest obstacles I thought I could face that time. But behold, in a few months I faced even bigger challenges. But behold, in a few months I faced even bigger challenges. But I could challenge God and say, God, you parted the sea in the Bible. You raised up the dead in the Bible. You calmed the storms in the Bible. And personally I could reference that God, when it was so tough, and what will I speak, you helped me in my German course.
So in the other situation I could call God's attention and I could strengthen my faith that if you could do this, I know you can do this as well. Absolute faith in Jesus Christ. A friend of mine told me recently, he told me I would like to be the Bürgermeister of my city. And that's faith. Because in the moment that he was speaking to me, I'm not even sure how popular he is in his own compound. But I wouldn't be surprised in the future if he becomes later the Bürgermeister of his city. But I wouldn't be surprised in the future if he becomes later the Bürgermeister of his city. Because the words are, ask and a child will be given unto you. Hallelujah! So he could believe God and trust God for that. In the moment it looks big, but it is possible with faith. Faith gives us the confidence when we are faced with challenges. I want us to read from the book of Mark chapter 5.
I pray the Lord is going to give you strength more to trust him from today in the name of Jesus. Mark 5, I will start reading from verse 21. Amen! Mark 5, from verse 21. Jesus got into the boat again. It's not the old story, so let's read along. It's a new one. But there's a boat again this time. Maybe there's something interesting about the boat that we all need to get. Jesus got into the boat again and went back to the other side of the lake, where a large crowd gathered around him on the shore. Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet. Pleading fervently with him, my little daughter is dying, he said. Please come and lay your hands on her. Heal her so she can live. Verse 24. Jesus went with him and all the people followed, crowding around him. A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years.
Can we all say this together? A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years. She had suffered for twelve years. And in your own situation, I don't know how long you have suffered in your situation, but this woman, she had suffered twelve years. With constant bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors. And over the years, she had spent everything. She had to pay them. Hear this, but she had gotten no better. She had spent all she had, but she has gotten no better. This NLT says, in fact, she had gotten worse. So she was even worse than before she went to the doctors. God blessed the doctors, but because also sometimes they are not sure, so they have to carry some tests and tests and tests. So she spent everything, but she got worse. She had heard about Jesus. Also like you have been hearing about Jesus all the time. She also heard about Jesus.
So she decided, and I am reading now. She came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. She touched the robe of Jesus. Verse 28. For she thought to herself, if I can just touch his robe, I will be healed. That is faith in action. She has spent all she had, she has followed the way, the normal way she thought she knew. Which was to go to the doctors. But when she heard about Jesus, she thought to herself, in within herself, she never read this act anywhere in the Bible. This has never been done before. But she thought within herself, if I could only touch the robe of Jesus, I will be healed. This morning also, if you can also imagine, how God is powerful and how wonderful he is, able to save. That child that you have forgotten about, you have lost hope on the child. Do not lose hope. Only if I can touch his robe, I will be healed. Only if you can pray to God in faith,
the Lord can restore that bad relationship you have with your family. The Lord can give you a fresh start in your family. The Lord can renew your relationship with your partner. Bitterkeit ist nicht gut fürs Herz. The Lord can heal your heart again this morning. The Lord can give you a new heart. He can turn the stony heart into a heart of flesh. Those addictions that you think you cannot live anymore. The Lord can heal you of those addictions in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah! Praise God! All you need is that unshakable faith in the power of the Lord. The Lord can give you a new start this morning. Amen. So the woman, verse 29, says, immediately when she thought to herself that if I can touch and I will be healed, 29 says, immediately the bleeding stopped. Say immediately. The blood stopped. And she could feel in her body that she had been healed of a terrible condition.
Faith gives us confidence. She had that confidence that if she could touch the robe of Jesus Christ, she will be healed. You can also have that confidence this morning for the situation that you are in. And the Lord never disappoints. The Lord never disappoints. We said it at the start of the message that every day the Lord works miracles and wonders. Only what we need to gain from it is that absolute faith that the miracles can also be ours. Amen. Because of our time, let's read one more in Daniel chapter 3. Daniel chapter 3. We'll read from verse 1. Hallelujah. Daniel chapter 3 from verse 1. Daniel chapter 3, verse 1. The Lord is restoring your faith this morning in the name of Jesus. King Nebuchadnezzar made a gold statue, 90 feet tall and 9 feet wide, and set it upon the plain of Dora and the province of Babylon.
Then he sent messages to the high officials, governors, advisor, treasurer, judges, and all the prince provincial officials to come to the dedication of the statue he had set up. So all the officials came and stood before the statue King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. Then he heard shout out, People of all races and nations and languages, listen to the king's command. When you hear the sound of the horn, flutes, zita, lyre, harp, pipes, and other musical instruments, bow to the ground to worship King Nebuchadnezzar's gold statue. Anyone who refuses to obey will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace. So at the sound of the musical instrument, all the people, whatever their race or nation or language, bowed to the ground and worshiped the gold statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. Verse 8. But some of the astrologers went to the king and informed on the Jews.
They said to King Nebuchadnezzar, Long live the king! You issued a decree requiring all the people to bow and worship the gold statue when they hear the sound of the horn. Verse 11. That decree also states that those who refuse to obey must be thrown into a blazing furnace. But there are some Jews. Verse 12. But there are some Jews. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, whom you have put in charge of the providence of Babylon, they'll pay no attention to you, your majesty. They refuse to serve your gods and do not worship the gold statue that you have set up. Verse 13. Then Nebuchadnezzar flew into a rage and all that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego brought before him. When they were brought in, Nebuchadnezzar said unto them, Is it true that you refuse to serve my gods or to worship the gold statue I have set up? Verse 15.
I will give you one more chance to bow and worship the statue I have made when you hear the sound of the musical instruments. But if you refuse, you will be thrown immediately into the blazing furnace. And then what god will be able to rescue you from my power? The lord is always responding when he is challenged. Hear how this king challenged the power of the lord. I will see who will rescue you from my hands. The king challenged that I will see who will rescue you three from my hands. Verse 16. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. Verse 17. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the god whom we serve is able to save us. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the god whom we serve is able to save us. Absolute faith in Jesus. They knew that god will always come true for his children.
So maybe our situation today is not one king trying to push us into the furnace. But you have situations that are similar and someone is asking you to deny your god. This is the verse that I love the most about these three Jews. Verse 18. But even if, what does that translate in German? But even if, they trusted that the lord would save them from the furnace. They trusted the power of Jesus to save them from the burning furnace. But as we said before, sometimes we are humans and emotions catch up with us. And sometimes we doubt our faith in Jesus to rescue us from situations. So the three of them said also that, but even if, even if god doesn't save us, even if god doesn't give me that job that I so much desire, even the house that I wanted so much, I couldn't get it. Sometimes you almost pray when you go for a viewing appointment in Frankfurt. I don't know how it is for you.
But if you search for an accommodation apartment in Frankfurt, me and my wife sometimes we almost pray like, oh guys, why are you here? Please, let's just have this apartment. Because the same thing that you want, other people want. Someone was trusting god so much for a particular job. And he believed so much that he traveled to the headquarters of the company and started praying in tongues and speaking over the company. That will be my office. That will be my park place. And this office I receive you in the name of Jesus. Every power of the devil that is saying they will give me another sweet rejection email from this place. I come against you. And trusted so much that god will come through. But he missed the opportunity. So faith unshakable is saying, even if the job, I don't get it. This partner I wanted so much disappointed me. They said, but even if he doesn't,
they think, we want to make it clear to you, your majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the god statue that you have set up. What a faith. What a faith. Even if you won't save us, we will not bow and save your girls. Because of time, I'm going to try to end right now today and give you finally, how does faith works. I'm going to give you an example. And give you finally, how does faith works. I'm going to give you three points on how faith works. Remember that god is not human that he should lie. Does he speak a thing and he does not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? You can trust everything that you find in god's word. Having faith, unshakable, that they are yours. Anything you find in the bible, the word of god, you can have faith that they are yours. Now this, how does faith work? Number one, faith comes by hearing. Romans 10, verse 17. Faith comes by hearing.
Romans 10, verse 17. These are some of the ways that faith works. 10, 17. So faith comes from hearing. That is hearing the good news about Christ. So you can only grow your faith by hearing the word of the lord. There are thousands and hundreds of miracles of god in the bible. We only read a few of them. Your faith can grow only by hearing. And hearing by the word of god. So check the word on how faith works and then you can see. You need to read your bibles. Point two. Number three, faith comes by hearing. Faith, because we are saying how faith works. Number two, faith without work is dead. Faith without work is dead. Faith requires work. James 2, verses 14 to 18. We will not read that one now, but faith works, is dead. The bible says that faith without work is dead. A student who wants to write an exam and wants to pass has an unshakable faith, but will not read his or her books.
And in the night leading to the exam, the student will stand up in the night and begin to pray to god and speak in tongues. And declare the words of the lord. The bible says I know more than my teachers. We have some teachers where we have some lecturers, they will tell you no, you don't know more than us. Faith requires work. You have to work. Show me your works without faith. Your faith without work and I am going to show you my faith and my works. So you need to work and not just blindly confess faith. Faith without work is dead. Can everyone say it again? Faith without work is dead. Finally the last point. There is no faith outside god. There is no faith outside god. Faith unshakable requires you to be born again. You need to be born again. Faith, there is no faith outside god. Hebrews chapter 12 verse 2 says, Looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith.
Can everyone say it again? Looking unto Jesus. The author and finisher of our what? Of our faith. So there is no faith outside of god. Because he is the finisher, he is the author, he is the one that wrote faith. There is no faith outside god. I want everyone to bow down your heads today and close your eyes. If you are here today and you have never given the Lord Jesus your heart, today is the day. Do not delay. Tomorrow may be too late. Looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith. There is no faith outside Jesus. You are yet to give Jesus your heart. This call is for you this morning. Or maybe sometimes you doubt your faith in god. Sometimes you are not too sure about your salvation. You think maybe I know him or maybe I don't. You are not sure. Or you are yet to give Jesus your heart. It is an opportunity once more to give Jesus your heart. To come to the light.
As everyone is closing their eyes, I want you to raise your hands. If you want to give your heart to Jesus, you want to rededicate your life to Jesus. Because you know his faith is able to deliver you in your situation. You want to start a new walk with him. Of all these beautiful testimonies that we have shared, it is good that you are also a partaker of these blessings. The Lord is waiting for you this morning. Without looking at anyone, without no shame this morning, you want to give your heart to the Lord. Come out this morning. Come right now and come forward. The Lord will always come true for his people. Whether you are watching online or you are here this morning, you want to rededicate your life to Jesus. You want to live a life of faith. Do not wait. Come this morning. The Lord is waiting for you this morning. Everyone that needs Jesus in your life, make this declaration.
Say Jesus. Be serious with Jesus this morning. Say Jesus, forgive me of all my sins. Wash me, cleanse me, set me free. Jesus, I thank you that you died for me. Jesus, I believe you are risen from the dead. I believe you are coming back again for me. Amen. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! How many people have been blessed in the service this morning? Go in victory this week. Having that unshakable faith that the Lord is able to bless you. Our pastors will be back next Sunday.

Wie ihr vielleicht wisst, sind unsere Pastoren, Pastor Nick und Pastor Janina gerade in den Staaten. Sie nehmen an einer Konferenz teil.
