When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data may be processed, including IP address, time, requested page, browser and device information, and server logs. This supports secure and reliable operation.
River Web may set necessary technical cookies for session integrity, CSRF protection, security, and operation. Hosting or security infrastructure may also set short-lived security or bot-protection cookies. These cookies are not used to build advertising profiles.
Contact can currently be made through the visible River email address. River Web does not maintain separate sensitive form profiles. Bible School applications are handled through the separate River Bible School application. Additional River workflows are enabled only with matching privacy and authorization controls.
River Web runs on River-controlled infrastructure hosted with Hetzner Cloud and managed with Laravel Forge. Technical connection, security, and server-log data may be processed as needed to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the service.
Giving is available by bank transfer and through external payment pages from Stripe and PayPal. After a visitor selects an external payment provider, that provider's privacy and payment terms apply. River Web does not store card details or PayPal credentials.
Message videos load only after an active visitor choice using YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. Google Maps, RMV, Instagram, and Facebook are provided as external links; the selected service's terms apply after the visitor follows the link.
River may use Google Ads or Google Ad Grants for meaningful user actions. The Google Ads measurement tag is consent-gated, advertising personalization remains disabled, and River does not send prayer content, pastoral information, form contents, or inferred religious beliefs as advertising data. Other measurement providers are activated only after a matching technical consent and privacy review.
Use of international services such as Google, Meta, Stripe, PayPal, or YouTube may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Such services are used only subject to applicable legal requirements and safeguards.
River uses AI for selected internal growth, search, SEO, and content operations. A public River AI chat is not currently active. Private pastoral notes, confidential prayer content, private Bible School data, payment data, and credentials do not belong in general Growth, SEO, or marketing AI.
Technical logs and request data are retained only as long as needed for operation, security, handling, reasonable follow-up, or legal retention duties. River avoids unnecessary permanent storage on the public website.
Subject to applicable law, rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Consent may be withdrawn for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.
This privacy notice is updated when River Web, the services in use, or applicable legal requirements materially change.
