What a Breakthrough Sunday
After four powerful nights of Breakthrough Conference, we came together Sunday morning for one final service with Pastor Tony Carpenter from River Church Baltimore. The room was full of expectation as we worshipped, prayed and came hungry for everything God wanted to do.
Breakthrough was never meant to be just another conference on the calendar. From Wednesday through Sunday, the focus was clear: receive from God, let Him work in your life and leave different than you came.
The Force of Faith
Pastor Tony closed the week with a powerful message called “The Force of Faith.” The challenge was simple: stand firm in faith and refuse to waver. Faith does not quit because circumstances look difficult. Faith holds onto the Word of God and keeps moving forward.
That is the kind of faith we want to carry out of Breakthrough—not faith that only works in a conference atmosphere, but faith that stands on Monday morning, in the middle of pressure, in your family, in your work and in every area of life.
Stand on the Word
Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Hebrews 10:23 tells us to hold fast because He who promised is faithful. James 1:6 warns us not to waver. Faith has something solid underneath it: what God has said.
The answer is not to live from one emotional high to the next. Stay in the Word. Stay in prayer. Stay connected to the local church. Keep obeying God. Keep believing. Keep moving forward.
The altar filled
As Pastor Tony ministered, the altar filled with people responding to the Word and receiving prayer. People were touched, and we heard testimonies of healing as God moved among us.
That is what Breakthrough was about from the beginning: not simply meetings, but people encountering God and leaving with something real to carry into their lives.
Breakthrough continues
The conference may be over, but what God did does not have to end with the final service. Take the Word you received and live it. Protect what God deposited in you. Stand firm. Refuse to go backward.
