Local Church, Revival Hub, Missions Hub: River Church Frankfurt’s Three-Part Vision
Three short phrases summarize how River understands its role: build the local church, carry revival and equip people to be sent.
Local church comes first
River’s vision begins with local church because ministry has to become a real spiritual family rather than a sequence of events. Sundays, midweek services, children, youth, discipleship, serving and pastoral life give the vision a home.
That local foundation also creates accountability: people are not only reached; they should be helped to grow.
Revival hub describes spiritual hunger
River uses “revival hub” to describe a church that expects the presence and power of God to affect ordinary Christian life. Worship, prayer, the Word and the Holy Spirit are meant to shape people beyond a meeting.
The phrase is not intended to replace local church responsibilities with conference culture. River’s recurring conferences sit inside the weekly life of the congregation.
Missions hub points outward
A missions hub is not only about sending people overseas. River connects mission to Frankfurt, Germany and the nations. Believers are equipped to carry the Gospel into everyday life and, where God leads, beyond the city.
