The Gifts of the Holy Spirit in Operation at Breakthrough Conference
River Church Frankfurt believes the manifestations of the Holy Spirit described in 1 Corinthians 12 are for the church today.
Nine manifestations named in Scripture
First Corinthians 12:7–11 lists manifestations of the Spirit including the word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healings, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, different kinds of tongues and interpretation of tongues.
Breakthrough Conference is being prepared with expectation for the Holy Spirit to move according to the Word of God.
The gifts point people to Jesus and build the church
Spiritual gifts are not entertainment. First Corinthians 12 says the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the profit of all, while 1 Corinthians 14 emphasizes edification, exhortation and comfort in prophecy.
