Preparing for Breakthrough Conference With Prayer
Schedules, registrations and promotion matter, but River Church Frankfurt does not treat conference preparation as logistics alone.
Practical preparation and spiritual preparation belong together
A five-day conference requires invitations, registration systems, volunteer coordination, travel information and a functioning venue. Those tasks are necessary, but they are not the whole purpose of the week.
River’s stated identity centers on the presence of God, the Word, prayer and the work of the Holy Spirit. Preparing the room without preparing people spiritually would miss that emphasis.
Prayer can begin before October 7
People planning to attend can pray for the guest ministry, the River teams serving, people traveling from other cities and those who may come to church for the first time.
Prayer also helps shift the focus from “What will I get from the conference?” toward “What does God want to do in me and through me?”
Come ready to respond
No article can prescribe what a person should experience during a service. The practical invitation is simply to come open to worship, the Word and prayer, without trying to manufacture a particular outcome.
