Bringing a Group to Breakthrough Conference? Plan These Four Things
A group trip can make conference week easier and more meaningful, but only if registration, transport and arrival are coordinated before the day.
1. Decide which service your group is attending
Breakthrough has five services. Agree on the day before asking people to commit so everyone is working from the same schedule.
2. Make sure registration is handled correctly
Free admission still requires registration. Group leaders should not assume that telling River an estimated group size replaces the official registration process.
3. Plan transport and parking as a group
If several cars are traveling together, remember that onsite parking is very limited. Carpooling, public transport or using the nearby parking option can reduce arrival stress.
4. Leave enough margin
Groups take longer to move than individuals. Build in time for traffic, parking, walking and finding each other before the service begins. Then the group can enter ready to participate instead of arriving fragmented and rushed.
