After Breakthrough: Carry the Fire Into Everyday Life
Breakthrough may be over, but we are not going back to business as usual. What God started in us during the conference is meant to become part of the way we live.
Do not leave Breakthrough at the altar
What a week we had at River Church Frankfurt. Five days of the Word, worship, prayer, ministry and lives being touched by God. Sunday morning Pastor Tony Carpenter closed the conference with “The Force of Faith,” challenging us to stand firm and refuse to waver.
Now comes the important part: what are we going to do with what we received? Breakthrough was never meant to stay in the room. Take it home. Take it into your family. Take it into your work. Take it into your prayer life. Let the Word produce something in you.
Stay in the Word
Acts 2:42 shows believers continuing steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine, fellowship and prayer. James 1:22 tells us to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. The key word is continuing.
You do not need another conference every week to stay on fire for God. Open your Bible. Pray. Worship. Obey what God tells you. Stay planted in the local church. What God begins in a powerful meeting can become a powerful way of life.
Keep praying for people
Throughout Breakthrough, people came forward for prayer, received ministry and were touched by God. That same compassion should continue after the conference.
Pray for people around you. Believe God with them. Encourage someone who is struggling. Invite someone to church. Be available for God to use you instead of waiting for the next special meeting.
Keep winning souls and serving
Faith is not passive. A church on fire reaches people. Share the Gospel. Welcome the newcomer. Serve faithfully. Help build the house of God. Let what you received turn into action.
River Church Frankfurt exists to see people saved, strengthened, equipped and sent into purpose. Breakthrough gave us fresh momentum, but the work continues every week.
We keep moving forward
We are back together Wednesday at 19:00 for Revival and Sunday at 11:00 in Frankfurt-Rödelheim. Come hungry. Bring someone with you. Do not lose what God did in you.
If Breakthrough was your first time at River Church Frankfurt, this is only the beginning. Take your next step, get connected and become part of what God is building in Frankfurt.
