SERMON NOTES
PEACE BEYOND COMPREHENSION

When You’re Leveling Up Spiritually…”
He will send:
* Distractions to scatter your focus.
* Situations to shake your stability.
* People to trigger your emotions.
* Thoughts to war against your mind.
* Offenses to entangle your heart.
Why?
Because peace is a weapon, and Satan knows it.
Peace Is a Fruit of the Spirit, a Sign of Authority, and a Guard
Galatians 5:22
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith…”
Philippians 4:7
“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
That word “keep” in Greek means to guard like soldiers around a fortress.
When you walk in peace, you’re walking in protection, authority, and clarity.
That’s why the devil targets your peace—because if he can shake your rest, he can interrupt your revelation.
DOCTRINE: The Enemy Is Strategic, but God Has Given You Discernment
2 Corinthians 2:11
“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”
You must be discerning.
That random text… that petty offense… that uninvited drama…
It may not be “just life”—
it might be a device of the enemy.
And Paul tells us—we’re not supposed to be ignorant of it.
Recognize the pattern. Refuse the bait.
DOCTRINE: Peace Must Be Fought For and Guarded
Colossians 3:15
“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.”
That word “rule” means to act as an umpire—deciding what is in or out.
Peace is how you judge situations in the Spirit.
So if something costs your peace, it’s either:
1. Not from God
2. Or being mishandled
That’s why the Holy Ghost is saying:
If you want to live in peace, you must go to war with everything that tries to steal it.
DOCTRINE: The Peace of Christ Is Not Passive—It’s Active Warfare
Romans 16:20
“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.”
Notice—the God of peace is the One who crushes Satan.
That means peace isn’t soft. Peace is a spiritual flex.
When you walk in peace, you’re walking in dominion.
CONCLUSION: Make War to Keep Peace
Peace doesn’t mean absence of conflict.
Peace means presence of God in the conflict.
When the enemy tries to stir chaos in your life, stand your ground and declare:
“I’m not coming down. I’m not backing up. I’m not losing my mind over this.
I’m seated in heavenly places. I have the mind of Christ.
And I will not hand over my peace—not now, not ever.”
2 Timothy 1:7
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Let the peace of Christ rule.
Let the Holy Spirit guide.
And go to war against anything that tries to steal your stillness.
